AMCHP's State Public Health Autism Resource Center (SPHARC) supports states in working to improve the system of care for children and youth with ASD/DD. SPHARC has developed learning modules around the six critical indicators for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) to provide targeted learning opportunities to state Title V programs and others working to improve the system of care for children and youth with ASD/DD.

Picture of group meetingThe Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB), together with its partners, has identified six critical indicators to promote a community-based system of services for all children and youth with special health care needs under Title V.
