The Friends of MCH Coalition is a group of 50+ national and state organizations that support maternal and child health policies at the national level. This coalition advocates for the Title V MCH Services Block Grant. AMCHP convenes and leads the Friends of MCH Coalition.
The Title V MCH Block Grant is the primary federal program devoted to improving the health of all women and children, including those who are low-income, at-risk, uninsured or underinsured. Funding cuts at the state and federal levels are impacting the ability of MCH programs to serve America’s families. The demand for services is rising as programs are faced with shrinking resources.
