 On Your Behalf

  • Throughout the month of August, AMCHP staff members were honored to participate in Title V Block Grant reviews across the country as reviewers and observers. There are so many innovative activities happening in Title V programs to improve the lives of women, children and families. Did you know that Innovation Station is the home of cutting-edge, emerging, promising and best practices in MCH? Check out Innovation Station’s new landing page where you can learn about practices, replicate a best practice, share your practice by submitting it to Innovation Station, participate in a community of practice and request technical assistance.

  • In late August, AMCHP staff members Caroline Stampfel, Jen Farfalla, Ki’Yonna Jones, Stacy Collins and Atyya Chaudhry supported the National MCH Workforce Development Center’s 2016 MCH Summer Skills Institute: Advancing Health Transformation Outcomes. Chaudhry presented on the State Assessment Tool: Building Key Partnerships to Help with Transformation Challenges, and Farfalla presented on Using Data to Measure Progress in All MCH Populations. Throughout the week-long Institute, presenters discussed topics and shared resources to help Title V programs advance work on the National Performance Measures (NPMs). Additional resources on NPMs, including best practices, are available on Innovation Station.
