AMCHP Seeks Child Development Program Manager
This position contributes to the development,
implementation and evaluation of program activities related to child health and
development, with a focus on autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
The program manager will assist in tracking, analyzing and reporting on
national and state programs impacting child health and will partner with
relevant federal agencies, such as the Maternal and Child Health Bureau and the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This position reports to the
associate director of child and adolescent health. Ideal candidates should hold
a master’s degree in public health or other related health or human services
field with four to eight years of direct professional experience. Ten years of
directly related experience can be substituted for a master’s degree. Direct work experience in
maternal and child health local, state and federal public health agencies or
