 On Your Behalf

In late July, AMCHP and NASHP co-chaired the National Standards for Systems of Care for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Work Group Meeting in Washington, D.C. The Standards National Work Group is comprised of state and national experts representing Title V programs, family leaders, Medicaid, health plans, provider groups, researchers and policy makers. Interested in how the National Standards for Systems of Care for CYSHCN are making a difference? Check out our new Standards Fact Sheet.

In July 2016, the State Adolescent Health Resource Center (SAHRC) and AMCHP hosted new state adolescent health coordinators in Minneapolis, Minn., for an orientation training. During this training, the coordinators learned the fundamentals of the adolescent health coordinator role, participated in systems-thinking activities and addressed challenges by using creativity and problem-solving tools with one another.
