AMCHP Searching for Workforce and Leadership Development Program Associate
The Workforce and Leadership Development Program Associate will be a member of the Programs Team and contribute to the advancement of maternal and child health programs by performing a variety of planning and program implementation, research and evaluation projects related to workforce and leadership development. This position supports and assists the development, implementation and evaluation of program activities related to workforce and leadership development. This position also contributes to the collection of state best practices (Innovation Station), newsletter development and implementation of communications strategies (Microsoft SharePoint, Listserv and social media). Division of Maternal and Child Health Workforce Development (DMCHWD) Seeking Fall 2016 Intern
This internship is located in metro-accessible Rockville, Maryland. This is an unpaid practicum experience for graduate students enrolled in schools of public health or other health-related degree programs in the United States. The intern(s) selected will have the opportunity to help shape their experience based on interest areas. Possible areas include contributing to the continued implementation of DMCHWD's communications plan; participating in cross-cutting division and bureau efforts such as workforce development; developing and sustaining activities that encourage networking and engagement of current and former MCH trainees; analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and producing summary reports; and researching, compiling, and disseminating grantee best practices from the MCH Training Program.
