AMCHP working on your behalf.
- On Sept. 29, AMCHP staff Krista Granger and Kansas state team member Kayzy Bigler presented a session at the CityMatCH Urban MCH Leadership Conference on "Demonstrating the Value of MCH Programs: Lessons Learned from the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs' Return on Investment Analytic Action Learning Collaborative." As part of the Return on Investment Analytic Action Learning Collaborative (ROI Analytic ALC), Kansas, Michigan, New Mexico, and Wyoming worked for seven months to develop an economic analysis of their selected MCH programs. Lessons learned included selecting a program that has already been evaluated in order to ease the data collection process, utilizing monthly scheduled meetings to keep the project on track, and including family advocates and other program stakeholders in decision making throughout the process.
