AMCHP President Millie Jones (WI) recently announced that the AMCHP CEO Search Committee has selected the firm TransitionGuides to assist with the a national executive search to find a successor to Dr. Michael Fraser, whose last day with AMCHP will be this Friday, Jul. 26. This group is beginning work on a leadership review that will ensure alignment of the organization needs with a position profile used to facilitate recruitment beginning in the next few weeks. Additionally, the AMCHP Executive Committee has announced that Barbara Laur will serve as AMCHP Interim CEO beginning Aug. 7. Ms. Laur has nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, and has served as a permanent full-time executive for more than a dozen years. She will help ensure continuity of AMCHP day-to-day operations and assist in the CEO search. Please direct questions to Millie Jones.
