Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health Releases Issue Brief on Habilitative Services Coverage Under the ACA
Habilitative services are defined as those that “help a person keep, learn or improve skills and functioning for daily living.” In a new issue brief commissioned by the Lucile Packard Foundation, Sara Rosenbaum, professor of health law and policy at the George Washington University School of Health and Health Services, examines coverage of habilitative services for children under the essential health benefits provisions of the Affordable Care Act. CDC Launches Teen Friendly Reproductive Health Site
The Division for Reproductive Health announces the launch of a new Web page dedicated to informing teens on available reproductive health services and provides the elements of best practices to reduce teen pregnancy and ensure availability of teen-friendly clinical health services, developed by the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) and CDC Community Initiatives.
