MCHB Seeks Deputy Division Director, Workforce Development
If selected for the position, the incumbent will provide leadership and direction in the development of policies, guidelines, and regulations relating to MCH programs; establish program goals, policies, objectives and priorities in maternal and child health; recommend new proposals for MCH workforce development programs to take full advantage of new research and evidence of program effectiveness; lead quality improvement efforts within the division including workforce development efforts in quality improvement and developing metrics and ongoing assessment of MCH workforce investments. Prepare and review congressional and similar inquiries relative to maternal and child health and public health programs; review, analyze and develop program plans, legislative proposals relating to MCH workforce development; and supervise staff and assist in all managerial decisions including programmatic and operating resources.
