Washington State Health Services Consultant 3 – Nutrition Specialist in CSHCN
There is one opening for a permanent Health Services Consultant 3 in the Prevention and Community Health Division, Office of Healthy Communities, Access Systems and Coordination Section. This position is located in Access Systems & Coordination Section (ASCS). The unit supports a wide range of health and development screening initiatives and intervention strategies, treatment and diagnosis, and complex care coordination activities provided throughout local health jurisdictions, other state agencies, and health programs and plans. The unit supports these programs in coordination with other functions in the ASCS that focus on promoting and improving the health of Washington residents. This position provides expert health and nutrition consultation for the unit, serves as a resource for nutritionists serving children and youth with special health care needs statewide, and promotes general pediatric nutrition with ASCS and across the Office of Healthy communities.  Texas Department of Health Seeks Physician I to Serve as CYSHCN Director
This position serves as the Texas Title V Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Director and the manager of the Systems Development Group in the Purchased Health Services Unit (PHSU). They will provide public health expertise and leadership in the daily operations and long term planning of the services developed and implemented in the CSHCN Services Program and other programs within the Unit, to include Kidney Health Care, the Hemophilia Assistance Program and the Glenda Dawson Donate Life Texas Registry Program. Also serves as the Assistant Medical Director for the Unit programs. Collaborates with consumers, providers, other agencies, organizations, programs, and other stakeholders to develop and implement family or person-centered, community-based, culturally competent, and coordinated systems of care for children with special health care needs and their families and adults with special health care needs.
