Oklahoma State Department of Health SSDI Analyst (MCH Consultant)
This position serves as coordinator of and statistical consultant to the State Systems Development Initiative (SSDI) grant. The purpose of the SSDI grant is to develop and expand state-level maternal and child health data capacity by using and/or incorporating linked health-related data in the assessment of the MCH population. The data systems to be included under SSDI are infant death records; MCH surveillance data (i.e., Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System and The Oklahoma Toddler Survey); state registry and client encounter data such as newborn screening and Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program; Medicaid data; and other OSDH databases containing service delivery information on the MCH population. The position is responsible for producing findings from the analyses and interpreting results for agency and program review, priority setting, and outcomes evaluation. The SSDI position plays a lead role in the completion of the MCH Title V Block Grant and the Title V 5-Year Needs Assessment. Position will be open until 5 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012, or until filled.
