In early 2019, the Centers will release a notice of funding opportunity for state Medicaid agencies to implement the Maternal Opioid Misuse Model, designed to improve quality of care and reduce expenditures for pregnant and postpartum women with Opioid Use Disorder, as well as their infants.

Will award $375,000 in prizes to support the creation of innovative solutions to help prenatal care providers remotely monitor the health and well-being of pregnant women, as well as place health data into the hands of pregnant women themselves as a tool to monitor own health and make informed decisions about care.
