The Maternal Opioid Misuse (MOM) Model

In early 2019, the Centers will release a notice of funding opportunity for state Medicaid agencies to implement the Maternal Opioid Misuse Model, designed to improve quality of care and reduce expenditures for pregnant and postpartum women with Opioid Use Disorder, as well as their infants.

Healthy Transitions: Improving Life Trajectories for Youth and Young Adults with Serious Mental Disorders Program

Remote Pregnancy Monitoring Challenge

Will award $375,000 in prizes to support the creation of innovative solutions to help prenatal care providers remotely monitor the health and well-being of pregnant women, as well as place health data into the hands of pregnant women themselves as a tool to monitor own health and make informed decisions about care.

Autism Secondary Data Analysis Research Program

Nurse Faculty Loan Program

Provides a total of $26.8 million to increase the number of qualified nurse faculty, strengthen the health workforce, and increase the number of skilled professionals in underserved and vulnerable communities. An estimated 90 awards will go to public or private nonprofit accredited schools of nursing.
