AMCHP was joined by Family Voices and the Association on University Centers on Disabilities in a letter urging House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone and Ranking Member Greg Walden to address issues of importance to children and youth with special health care needs, including those with disabilities, during upcoming hearings. Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention (NEPQR) – Veteran Nurses in Primary Care (VNPC) Training Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration
Deadline: March 8
To recruit and train nursing students and current registered nurses (RNs) to practice to the full scope of their license in community-based primary care teams.  This program aims to increase access to care, with an emphasis on chronic disease prevention and control, including mental health and substance use disorders.

Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program
Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau 
Deadline: March 11.
To support integration of mental health into pediatric primary care through telehealth.  Eligible applicants are states, political subdivisions of states, and tribes and tribal organizations.

Licensure Portability Program for Telehealth
Health Resources and Services Administration, Office for the Advancement of Telehealth
Deadline: March 11
To support licensure for telehealth across state lines, allowing for health care delivery through video conferencing, the internet, store-and-forward imaging, streaming media, and terrestrial and wireless communications.
