Learning Community Applications for Pediatrics Supporting Parents 
This initiative from the National Institute for Children's Health Quality has the long-term goal of improving pediatric primary care to foster social and emotional development in the same way that it focuses on physical health and cognitive development.

Increasing Physical Activity Among Women and Girls
The Public Health Reports journal is calling for manuscripts in mutiple areas: Critical periods during the life course, e.g., puberty, marriage, educational transitions, pregnancy, and menopause that impact physical activity levels among women and girls, organized sports participation among women and girls, effective policies and/or programs that promote physical activity among women and girls, and social determinants of physical activity among women and girls.

Feedback Requested: Data Tables from the U.S. Census Bureau
The U.S. Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists is encouraging state, tribal, local, or territorial departments to submit comments regarding how people utilize specific data tables at specific levels of geography (e.g., census block, school district, county subdivision) in research or for specific legal, statutory, or programmatic purposes.
