THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY PROFESSIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
Working with Your Title V Maternal Child Health Bureau

In South Carolina, there is a longstanding relationship between Family Connection and South Carolina's Title V Maternal Child Health Bureau (MCHB) at the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). South Carolina's MCHB and Family Connection work to establish clear, intentional practices with families to improve the outcomes for children with special health care needs throughout their lives. STATES EXPLORE TEXT APP TO REACH LOW-INCOME PREGNANT WOMEN

Last year, AMCHP and a representative from Oklahoma's Text4baby, a program designated as an Emerging Practice in AMCHP's Innovation Station, provided technical assistance (TA) to states to institute or expand the service. [more]
